Lethal Enforcer

I’ve had the last week off work (due to changing jobs) and spent a few days taking pictures in various places of various people.
I know that I promised a few film shots which I have developed and i’m yet to scan them in. Turns out that a week off can actually be quite busy.

These first few were from when I poped into the city one (really) early morning with Kate before she went to work,

Then later on during the week I went to the beach,

This ladies bag was cuttee!

Got a few I shot in between on my flickr (which i’m really getting back into) with a new project which i’ve started as well called “in between” which you can read more about here.

End with a couple I took of my sis working.

Night!

Camp.

So I think it was around 4 months ago now me and a few friends went camping to celebrate the end of college/start of adulthood - whatever way you look at it, it was a good excuse to get crazy drunk.

Most of this is in chronological order starting with the digtal stuff for the first couple of days,

Getting drunk during the day. Jace decided to draw a giant couple having sex in the sand.

Swimming when drunk is a weird sensation. Not that i’d promote it to anyone but the water was really warm, probably due to the fact that we were toasted.

Danski and Nadia.

This picture sums the trip up nicely.

Morning after. Up at 6am nursing head aches.

Now on with the film ones,

HP5+ at 800.

Drunk cam.

Trying to get group pictures in the most reflective object on hand, Kinda worked.

The lady.

Me, taken by Kate I think.

En-route to the beach.

Kate took these two :

Chantel and Kate on our way down to the beach.

True British postcard shot.

It’s not very often we get a picture of both of us. Sometimes it’s worth giving the camera to someone else.

‘Tel and Henry.

Thats it from the trip. Was a good way to start the summer holidays and celebrate the end of a hard year of study.

Should have a few more blog posts coming up in the next week or so since i’ve got a week free untill I start my new job.

St. Patricks Day

•September 28, 2008 • No Comments

It was absolutley ages ago now I know, but i’ve only just got around to developing the roll which I must say was a right pain in the ass loading onto the developing reel (probably due to the fact it was a little wet), hence a few scratches on the negs.

Me and one of my best friends flossy

Nadia, my best friends girlfriend and my girlfriends best friend (hope that made sense)

My favourite from the night, seems I was to drunk to forget to wind on properly thus rending this nice little panoramic picture.

Outside the pub. (shit scratches all over :( )

Inside Nadia’s car, her and flossy messing about.

Got home (very) drunk. Found my dog chilling on my bed.

My first time out with the holga, quite impressed with the results actually, it has no ISO setting. You simply put the film in, focus if needed at all and snap. I think that I will take it on a night out again it gives nice results for a cheap camera.

Right now it’s late and i’ve spent 3 hours scanning film in which means that all of my pictures from my camping trip in summer are now processed. I’ll get them blogged soon. I’ve had a few beers and i’m ready for bed.

Prom night

•September 24, 2008 • 1 Comment

Back in June, whats that 3 months ago, I shot pictures for my sisters prom. I had processed them ages ago but due to the reformat of my computer I lost them, long story short I thought that i’d put them on disk, turns out i’d lost that disk. Balls.

Anyway on with some pictures,

Dani looking all pretty, really happy with the contrast and bokeh on this.

Just because.

Dani and her best friend Lucy

Few pictures outside

The car which they went in was sweet. Bentley. I don’t know much about cars but I know it was cool.

Once we got there, some little sign showing people they were in the right place.

Turns out they wern’t the only ones in a cool car.

Weird it only seems like yesterday that was me and my prom.

Not sure if anyone reading this has tried out googles new web browser, called Google Chrome, it’s what i’m using at the moment whilst writing this, and I must say i’m quite impressed so far. Seems to display images nicely and since it’s google you know your going to get good support and updates quite regularly. Whether or not i’m going to switch over from firefox I don’t know yet, we shall see.

Anyway, all is getting back on track now, i’ve got my holiday pictures back which I will scan in sometime soon and a load of black and white stuff to develop in the next couple of days. Actually found a roll of film from when I took the holga out on St. Patricks day which is absolutely ages ago, should be good fun looking at that one.

Bye!

I think

That rather than just add people to my blogroll and let people find out why they are there, I will write a little about them each and why I think they deserve a spot in my blogroll. I will atempt that in the next few days or so.
It’s late and i’m off to bed.

Beach.

Sometime during the summer me, Kate and her sis headed down to the beach. It was one of the only hot days I can remember of summer.

Listening to Stealers Wheel - Stuck in the middle with you. God I wish that summer was back.

The water was so warm on that day.

So here’s to new blog as well!
